Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian Actress best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy Series Shadowhunters and Venevision Television series Cosita linda & Voltea Pa' que te enamores. A dancer and model by trade Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. Her home is in Montreal, but grew up and studied in Texas. Her love of dancing has been in her since the age of a child. She's been training in different dance styles since her early years. Her first participation in beauty contests at the age of 15. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia was a household name during 2008, when she was a guest in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season. This is a Univision beauty competition series. Her acting debut came in 2010, portraying a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's TV show Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her first film the action-drama Tattooed Love. Toubia was recognized for her performance as Shadowhunters, Shadowhunters, Toubia was nominated for the Teen Choice Awards for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi in 2017 and 2018.
