After completing her secondary schooling and then attending Hull Collegiate School. In 2012 she graduated at the Central School of Speech and Drama. John-Kamen started her professional journey when she started providing the voice for Dark Souls in 2011. The show formally closed its doors on the 29th day of June 2013. John-Kamen landed a leading part on SyFy's Killjoys in 2015. John-Kamen was a guest on for HBO's Game of Thrones in 2016. In 2016, she was featured in "Playtest" the first episode in the anthology series Black Mirror. The actress also appeared Season Two of The Tunnel, a UK TV show The Tunnel and in the action film Ant-Man and the Wasp.
