Barber made a weight-class switch to Flyweight in preparation for UFC Fight Night Thompson Vs. Pettis, where she took on JJ Alldrich. Barber kept her dominance in the UFC by TKOing Aldrich in round 2. The fight was then followed with her TKOing Gillian Robertson during UFC: Reyes against Weidman on ESPN. Roxanne modafferi, who was in UFC 246's next bout finished Barber's UFC 3 fight win streak. Roxanne dominated Barber and won the unanimous decision win. Maycee maintained her losing streak as she suffered an unbeaten loss against AlexaGrasso at UFC 258. Barber took home her win in the next bout against Miranda Maverick at UFC on ESPN: Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw via split decision. Barber defeated Montana De La Rosa by unanimous verdict in UFC Fight Night 205 held on April 23, 2022. Barber went on to replace Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye in UFC 276 in July 2022. The match was also decided with a unanimous decision. This bout was also the last fight of her existing contract with UFC however she signed a new contract with the company after the fact. Barber beat Andrea Lee via a unanimous decision on the 25th of March, 2023, at UFC Fight Night Vera Vs. Sandhagen.
