Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Jazz performer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award-winner was born on the 20th of February 1937 in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson, and former Lillian Ryan who worked as a domestic servant. Nancy was the youngest out of six kids. Her father was a musician and would play records with his children at home. It had a huge influence in her early years. As young as 4, Nancy already knew that her future was as an artist. She was able to develop her talents through singing in the church choir. She won a TV-talent show in her 15th year and then began being a regular on the tv series Skyline Melodies while still in high school. In the year she turned fifteen, she began her career in night clubs. Nancy dropped out of Central State University in Ohio after being matriculating for a full year. Her debut album was released in 1956 by Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. The group toured with her from 1956-1958. Nancy's very first Dot Records recording was made during her time in the Big Band of Carolyn Club. Cannonball advised her to relocate to New York and go to The Big Town for the rest of her professional career. Within a short time she had been singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club which is located at Boston Road near The Bronx. A representative from Adderley's company saw her singing and instantly agreed to sign her. His agent signed her with Capitol in 1960. The year she made her debut was the same year. Guess who? Her records were successful and Capitol released five Nancy Wilson albums in two years. She began by focusing on R&B, but under Adderley's influence, she started to take on jazz. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley formed a band in 1962. This led to her rise up on the charts. In 1963, she achieved her biggest hit with Tell Me the Truth. The singer was offered a position in New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's most prestigious nightclub.

Maisie Richson-Sellers, a British TV and film actress, is most well-known for her character as Chloe Winthrop in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth. In the following year, she was cast in the role of Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's Original films The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
