Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson, a jazz musician and a three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Ohio, Chillicothe on the 20th of February, 1937. She was married to Olden Wilson, an ironworker who had worked for a long time as housekeeper. Nancy is the youngest out of 6 siblings. The music passion of her father as well as the music he played at home had a major influence on Nancy as a young girl. As young as four an age, she realized she'd be a singing star. She developed her talent due to her participation in the choir at church. In high school, she began to appear regularly on Skyline Melodies. She was fifteen when she won the television talent show. At the age of fifteen, she began her career in night clubs. After graduating from high school aged 17 Nancy was enrolled for a year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University prior to going on to become an accomplished musician. Nancy began recording for Dot Records in 1956, as part of the group. Cannonball adderley encouraged her to go into New York in order to improve her career. She visited The Big Town, New York in 1959. Her agent heard her speak in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. within a month after her arrival at New York City. It was a contract by Capitol Records in 1960. The year was 1960 when she made her debut with. Guess who I saw today? Capitol has released five Nancy Wilson albums within two years. Initially focusing on blues and rhythm under the influence of Adderley, she shifted away from R&B and embraced the torch and jazz genres. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in 1962 helped to propel her into the spotlight and her smash hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. The singer was offered a position at New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's premier nightclub.

Maisie's professional career started in the world of acting with the 2012 short Our First World. In 2013, she portrayed Ellie in a movie called Americano and Rum. She starred as a cameo in the role of Korr Sella in the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force awakens. In the Netflix Original Movie The Kissing Booth Season 2 or 3, she played Chloe Winthrop.
