DreamWasTaken, the pseudonym used by American player Clay on YouTube to share Minecraft videos, is an excellent illustration of this. Dream was a player since his childhood, and then launched his own YouTube channel where he would share his playthroughs and commentaries. Dream has collaborated alongside BadBoyHalo (a fellow gamer) and GeorgeNotFound. George has been reported to be dating Dream. Dream, who hasn't revealed his identity yet, uses the avatar he created from gaming to live his entire online life. DreamWasTaken started his career on social media as a gamer. YouTube is the channel where he mostly makes Minecraft video playthroughs, commentary videos, and much many more. He rose to fame with his YouTube channel Dream. The channel was launched on the 8th of February 2014. The channel has since gained over 6.75 million subscribers as well as more than 584 thousand views. The BadBoyHalo team also collaborated with him in his YouTube Minecraft videos.
